Series History: Towson wraps up its season series with the Pride as it visits Hofstra. It will be the 63rd meeting all-time between the Tigers and Pride. Hofstra holds a 33-29 edge in the series and has won five straight meetings following a 70-61 victory in Towson in January. In that game, the Pride used a big second half to claim the victory. Senior guard
Raven Bankston led Towson with 14 points in that game while
Krystal Luciano paced Hofstra with 19 points and six assists.
Banging the Boards: Redshirt sophomore center
Maia Lee led Towson with 11 rebounds in last Sunday's contest against Northeastern. It was a season and career-high for the Falls Church, Virginia native. It also marked the ninth time this season a Tiger has recorded double-digit rebounds in a game. Junior forward
Mary Cuevas leads the team with four double-digit rebounding games.
Seeing Double: Towson had a pair of players score in double figures in last Sunday's contest against Northeastern. Freshman guard
Etalyia Vogt led the Tigers with a season and career-high 12 points in the contest.
It was Vogt's first double-digit scoring game of her career. Sophomore guard
Sianni Martin added 10 points against the Huskies. Martin has scored in double figures in six straight games and in 21 games this season.
Welcome to the Block Party: The Tigers finished with five blocks in Sunday's contest against Northeastern. That was just one block shy of matching the Tigers' season-high for blocks in a game. Junior center
Daijha Thomas and junior guard
Shanea Butler led the charge with two blocks each. Thomas now has 18 blocks on the season while Butler has five. Thomas raised her career total to 56 blocked shots. She needs five more blocks to move into the top 10 for career blocked shots at Towson.
Clearing the Glass: For a second straight game and the third time in the last four contests, the Tigers won the rebounding battle. Towson grabbed 42 boards to Northeastern's 41 in Sunday's match-up. Of the 10 players who appeared in Sunday's game, seven grabbed at least two rebounds. Redshirt sophomore center
Maia Lee led all players with a team-high 11 rebounds in the contest. It was the 10th time this season the Tigers have won the rebounding battle.
The Big 9-0-0: Towson senior guard
Raven Bankston reached a scoring milestone in the Tigers's contest against Northeastern. Bankston, who has already scored the 1,000th point of her career, tallied eight points against Huskies. She now has 900 points in 56 games as a Tiger. Bankston became the 25th player in program history with 900 or more career points. She is the first Tiger since
Dominique Johnson to score 900 or more career points as a Tiger.
Up Next: Following the game at Hofstra, the Tigers will return home to host Elon in their home finale on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. The Tigers will honor seniors
Brianna Bush and
Raven Bankston prior to the start of the game.
