Opening Draw: The Towson women's lacrosse team wraps up a four-game homestand and faces its fourth top 10 team, when it hosts No. 10 Notre Dame on Wedneday, March 15. Opening draw from Johnny Unitas Stadium is set for 4 p.m. Towson's Sports Network's Ben Rosenbaum and Eliza Yachimowicz will have coverage of the game starting at 3:45 p.m. Links to live stats and the video feed can be found on the schedule page of TowsonTigers.com. Fans can also follow the Tigers on Twitter (@Towson_WLAX) for in-game updates. This will be the second game of a doubleheader with the men's team. There will be no charge for admission at either of Wednesday's games.

Updating the Tigers: A balanced offensive attack led the Tigers to a 22-5 win over Stetson in their last contest. Sophomore attacker Natalie Sulmonte and senior attacker Samantha Brookhart combined for seven goals and eight assists to lead the Towson efforts against the Hatters. Brookhart leads the offensive efforts this season with 26 points on nine goals and a team-best 17 assists. Sophomore attacker Carly Tellekamp has a team-high 19 goals and six assists for 25 points. Sulmonte has collected a team-high 31 draw controls while adding 16 goals and seven assists. Junior defender Tianna Wallpher has posted a team-high 16 groundballs while senior Kelly McQuilkin and freshman Olivia Conti have contributed a team-best 14 caused turnovers each. Sophomore Angie Benson carries a 9.16 goals against average and a .517 save percentage into the game.

Scouting Notre Dame: Notre Dame is coming off a 14-8 loss at No. 9 Princeton on Saturday. That loss snapped an eight-game win streak for the Irish. Cortney Fortunato led Notre Dame with three goals in that contest while Casey Pearsall added a goal and an assist. Fortunato leads the Irish with 33 goals and 12 assists for 45 points while Nikki Ortega has contributed a team-best 16 assists and 15 goals for 31 points. Savannah Buchanan leads the squad in draw controls (27) and caused turnovers (18). Samantha Giacolone has posted a 9.24 goals against average and a .461 save percentage. She has also collected a team-high 26 groundballs.

Towson-Notre Dame Series History: It will be the first ever meeting between Towson and Notre Dame. The Tigers have faced four other members of the Atlantic Coast Conference before (Syracuse, North Carolina, Virginia and Duke). Towson has had the most success against Duke, garnering two wins. Last year, the Tigers went 2-1 against teams they faced for the first time (wins over Stetson and Jacksonville).

Call Her Ms. Assist: Senior attacker Samantha Brookhart dished out six assists in the contest against Stetson. Brookhart set the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) record for single-game assists with that performance. She also tied the Towson single-game mark for assists, which was set by Nancy Etzel during the 1984 season. She had six assists in a game, twice that season. Brookhart is currently tied for fifth in the nation with the third most assists by a player this season.

Helping Ourselves: Towson recorded a season-high 14 caused turnovers against Stetson. Ten Tigers recorded at least one caused turnover against the Hatters. Freshman defender Olivia Conti finished with a game-high three caused turnovers while junior midfielders Emily Gillingham and Maddie Tribbe each had two caused turnovers. Towson now has 77 caused turnovers in seven games. Senior defender Kelly McQuilkin and Conti are tied for the team lead with 14 caused turnovers each. Freshman Sami Chenoweth has added 12 caused turnovers. Dating back to the start of the 2016 season, the Tigers are 10-3 when they force double-digit caused turnovers in a game.

Just the Way She Drew It Up: Sophomore attacker Natalie Sulmonte had an impressive performance in the draw circle against Stetson. Sulmonte pulled down a career-high 11 draw controls in the first half against Stetson. Her 11 draw controls tied the Towson single-game record. Former Tiger and current William & Mary head coach Hillary Fratzke posted 11 draw controls in a game twice in her career. Sulmonte also tied the CAA single-game record with her performance. She now has 31 draw controls this season and 81 for her career. Sulmonte needs just 19 more draw controls to crack the top 10 for career draw controls.

Goals, Goals, Goals: Towson tallied 22 goals in Sunday's win over Stetson. The 22 goals were the most scored by a Tiger squad under head coach Sonia LaMonica. It was Towson's second game of the season with 20 or more goals (UMBC-20, Stetson-22). It's the first time since 1985 and fourth time in program history that the Tigers have had two 20+ goal games in the same season.

Piling Up the Wins: Towson's win over Stetson on Sunday was head coach Sonia LaMonica's 77th on the Tiger sidelines. LaMonica needs two more wins to tie Missy Doherty, who had 79 wins in seven seasons at Towson. Doherty currently holds the program record for career coaching victories. She racked up those 79 wins between 2004 and 2010.

First Time for Everything: A pair of Tigers found the back of the net against Stetson for the first time in their career. Freshman attacker Abbe Mona and redshirt freshman midfielder Maddie Dickman each scored their first career goals in the second half of that game. The duo joins freshman midfielder Shelby Stack as Tigers to score their first career goal this season.

Up Next: Towson is back in action when it travels to Monmouth for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, March 19.
