Series History: Towson gets it's third look this season at the Hofstra Pride. It will be the 64th meeting in what is a close series between the Tigers and Pride. Hofstra holds a 33-30 edge in a match-up that saw the Tigers and Pride split the regular season series. Each team won on the road. In their most recent meeting on Feb. 24 in Hempstead, New York sophomore guard
Sianni Martin scored a game-high 21 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter to help the Tigers secure a 59-56 win.
Ashunae Durant had 18 points and seven rebounds for the Pride in that contest.

Take Advantage of the Turnovers: The Tigers took advantage of Delaware's turnovers on Wednesday night. Towson scored 20 points off 20 Blue Hens turnovers in that game. It was the 11th time this season the Tigers have scored 20 or more points off of their opponents' turnovers. Towson scored a season-high 34 points off 31 UMass Lowell turnovers in the season opener.

Climbing the Scoring Charts: After scoring a team-high 16 points in the regular season finale against Delaware, senior guard
Raven Bankston continues to climb the single-season and career scoring lists at Towson. Bankston enters the tournament with 488 points this season and 954 for her Towson career. She needs 12 more points to reach 500 for the season and would become the sixth player in program history to score 500 or more points in a single-season. Bankston needs 11 more points to move into the top 20 for career scoring at Towson.

We'll Take That: Towson has made use of it's quick hands throughout the season. The Tigers recorded 10 steals at Delaware. It was the third straight game and 18th time this season the Tigers have recorded double-digit steals in a game. Towson now has 296 steals for the year. It is the most steals by a Tiger squad since the 2008-09 team finished the year with 326 steals. The Tigers enter the tournament ranked second in the CAA while averaging 10.2 steals per game.

Welcome to the Block Party: Towson finished with three blocks against Delaware. Since being held without a block against James Madison on Jan. 8, the Tigers have recorded 55 of their 85 blocks this season. Towson has recorded four or more blocks in nine of those 15 games. Junior forward
Mary Cuevas leads the team with 26 blocks while junior center
Daijha Thomas has posted 22 rejections. It is the first time the Tigers have had two players with 20 or more blocks in the same season since
Michelle Peebles and
Nyree Williams during the 2012-13 season. Thomas enters the CAA Tournament with 60 blocks in 84 games. She needs one more rejection to move into a tie for 10th on the career blocks list at Towson. She would be tied with
Katrina Wheeler and
Gail Scriber, Thomas' mom.

It's a Swipe Show: Senior guard
Raven Bankston posted a game-high six steals in the regular season finale at Delaware. It was Bankston's sixth game this season with five or more steals. Bankston now has 91 steals on the year. She is currently tied for fourth in single-season history at Towson. She enters the CAA Tournament ranked 12th in the nation in steals per game (3.14) and 13th in total steals.

We'll Take the Charity: Towson made 14 shots from the foul line against Delaware. It was the 11th time this season the Tigers have made 14 or more shots from the foul line. Towson has now hit 377 shots from the charity stripe this season. It is the most made foul shots for the Tigers in a single-season since Towson made 383 during the 2012-13 campaign.
