Updating the Tigers: Four Tigers recorded hat tricks and senior attacker Samantha Brookhart dished out six assists as the Tigers rolled to a 19-7 win over then No. 19 Elon last time out. The Tigers have a balanced offensive attack as five players have 30 or more points this season. Brookhart leads the team in points (53) and assists (37). Sophomore attacker Natalie Sulmonte and fellow sophomore attacker Carly Tellekamp have each recorded 30 or more goals this season. Scouting Hofstra: The Pride will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak as they fell to No. 17 James Madison 17-9 on Friday night. Alyssa Parrella led Hofstra with three goals and two assists while Alexa Mattera had two goals and an assist last time out.  Parrella does a little bit of everything for the Pride. Towson-Hofstra Series History: Sunday's game will be the 37th meeting all-time between the Tigers and the Pride. Towson holds a 23-13 edge in the match-up and has won two straight following a 9-3 win in Hempstead last year. In that game Towson used a strong defensive effort to claim the win. The Tigers held the Pride to two shots in the first half and 10 in the game. Angie Benson made six saves in the win while Kaitlyn Montalbano had three goals and an assist.

Miss Assist: Senior attacker Samantha Brookhart dished out six assists in the win over Elon last Sunday. It was Brookhart's second six helper game of the season and allowed her to tie the school single-game record and the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) single-game record, which Brookhart set earlier this season against Stetson. It was her 10th multi assist game of the season and 23 of her career.

We'll Take the Freebies: Towson took advantage of its opportunities from the eight-meter arc against Elon. The Tigers scored a goal on 9-of-12 chances in that game. It was the most free position goals scored in a game under head coach Sonia LaMonica (since 2011). Sophomore attacker Natalie Sulmonte had three free position goals against the Phoenix while junior midfielder Emily Gillingham added a pair. The Tigers enter play this week ranked fourth in the nation for free position percentage (.532). The Tigers have 42 free position goals this season. Sulmonte has 13 free positon goals this season and ranks 16th in the nation for free positon goals per game.

I'm Honored: Junior midfielder Kaitlyn Montalbano had a huge weekend to lead the Tigers to the wins over William & Mary and Elon. Montalbano finished with 11 goals and two assists for 13 points while adding five ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw control. Montalbano was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Fast Break Offensive Player of the Week, the Alpha Lacrosse National Player of the Week on ILWomen.com and the CAA Player of the Week. Montalbano is the second Tiger to take home national player of the week accolades from the IWLCA (Angie Benson-April 20, 2016). She took home national player of the week honors on ILWomen.com for the third time in her career. Montalbano was named the CAA player of the week for the fourth time in her career.

Ground Ball Machine: One of the keys to success for the Tigers this season has been corralling the loose balls. Towson has recorded 20 or more ground balls in six games this season and has posted a win in each of those contests. On Sunday against Elon, the Tigers had 20 ground balls as 11 Tigers contributed at least one ground ball. Sophomore goalkeeper Angie Benson and senior midfielder Michaela Duranti had a team-high three each.

Dynamic Duo: Freshmen defenders Olivia Conti and Sami Chenoweth combined for four of the Tigers' eight caused turnovers on Sunday against Elon. The pair rank first and third respectively on the squad for caused turnovers this season. Conti leads Towson with 34 caused turnovers, which ranks third in single-season history at Towson. She entered play this week ranked ninth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (2.62). Conti has 10 games this season with multiple caused turnovers. Chenoweth currently ranks third on the team with 20 caused turnovers. She has eight games with multiple caused turnovers this season.

Handing Out the Helpers: Senior attacker Samantha Brookhart has a knack for finding her open teammates during her Tiger career. Brookhart had an six assists against Elon, which raised her season total to 37. Brookhart entered play this week ranked fourth nationally for assists. She has 10 multiple assist games this season and 23 in her career. Brookhart ranks tied for third in single-season assists at Towson. She enters play Sunday with 79 career assists. She is currently third in career history at Towson. Brookhart needs 10 more assists to move into the top two for career assists at Towson.

Deadly and Accurate: Towson has made the most of its shots this season. On Sunday against Elon, the Tigers scored 19 goals on the 23 shots it put on goal. So far this season, the Tigers have scored on 175 of the 363 shots they have taken. Towson enters play this weekend with .482 shot percentage which ranks first in the CAA and ninth in the nation. The Tigers' top four scorers (Samantha Brookhart, Natalie Sulmonte, Carly Tellekamp and Kaitlyn Montalbano) all have a shooting percentage of .500 or better.
