• The Tigers look for their first win of the
E.A. Jackson era on Friday when they hit the road for the fourth time in seven games this season for a 7 p.m. start at Rider.
• Friday will mark the home opener for the Broncos and the second game for Towson in the state of New Jersey after it played at Rutgers on Aug. 26.

RIDER SERIES HISTORY
• Friday will mark the 22nd meeting between the Tigers and Broncs since 1979 with Rider leading the series, 16-4-1.
• The two teams have met each season since 2013. Rider has won four straight in the series after Towson won the previous four contests from 1995-98.
• Towson and Rider were both members of the East Coast Conference where they met nine times from 1982-91.
LAST GAME AGAINST RIDER
• Towson dropped its home opener to Rider a year ago, losing 6-0 on August 28, 2016.
• The Broncs converted on four of their 12 penalty corner opportunities, including three in the first half.

Emilee Woodall recorded nine saves in just 31 minutes.
• Jessica Randazzo and Tess Coorens each scored twice for Rider while Randazzo added an assist for five points.
GEORGETOWN SERIES HISTORY
• Sunday will mark the 34th meeting between the Tigers and Hoyas since 1979. It is the fifth-longest series in Towson history behind Delaware and Hofstra (39 games), American (37) and Drexel (35).
• With the exception of 1997 and 2012, the two teams have met every year since 1984.
• The Tigers lead the series, 18-13-2, and have won 10 of the last 13 games. They are also 9-4-1 at home.
• Towson's 18 wins against Georgetown are its second-most against an opponent in history, trailing only La Salle (19).
LAST GAME AGAINST GEORGETOWN

Katie Schmidt made her first collegiate appearance for Towson and made two saves in 13 minutes, while
Katie McNeel made one defensive saves in a 4-0 loss at Cooper Field.
• The Hoyas outshot the Tigers 25-5 and held a 19-2 advantage in penalty corners.
• The game featured five green cards and four yellow cards.
TOUGH SCHEDULE
• Towson has played against some of the top teams in the country this season. The Tigers are scheduled to play five games against teams ranked in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Coaches Poll.
• The Tigers have already played No. 11 Maryland and No. 20 American and are scheduled to face No. 18 William & Mary (Oct. 6), No. 6 Delaware (Oct. 22) and No. 13 James Madison (Oct. 29).
• Towson also traveled to Rutgers on Aug. 28 and while the Scarlet Knights weren't ranked at the time, they are currently at No. 24 in the latest poll.
ROAD WARRIORS
• Since moving to Unitas Stadium in 2010, Towson has played a total of 147 games. Almost two-thirds of those have come on the road.
• The Tigers have played 92 road games during that time, including neutral site contests, compared to just 55 at home.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
• Towson boasts 27 players on its 2017 roster, 12 of which are true freshmen.
• The freshmen have totaled 52 games played, 33 games started and 100 percent of the team's scoring: goals (3), assists (1) and points (7).
• The Tigers, who have started at least five freshmen in every game this season, started six against No. 11 Maryland and seven versus No. 20 American.

• As a team, Towson leads Division I in saves per game with a 16.17 average. The Tigers also lead the CAA and are seventh in the nation in defensive saves with three.
• Senior
Emilee Woodall also leads the nation in saves per game with a 15.00 average. She is also second in the CAA and 21st in the nation with a .789 save percentage.
ONE GOAL GAMES
• Towson has had two of its six games this season decided by one goal. Since 2006, the team has had 83 of its 211 games decided by just one goal, a total of nearly 40 percent.
• The Tigers had 12 of their 18 games in 2010 decided by one goal, while 10 came down to a one-goal margin in 2006 (19 games), 2007 (19 games) and 2009 (18 games).
#TUFH GOES INTERNATIONAL
• Freshman
Peppe Haantjes hails from Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Haantjes joins Kajee Murangi '07 as the only players in program history who born internationally.
• Murgani listed her hometown as Chevy Chase in Maryland, but her birth place as Namibia.
WHO'S NEXT?
• Towson hits the road for two games next week, traveling to Fairfield, Connecticut to take on Sacred Heart on Friday at 7 p.m. The two teams last met in 2013 and the Tigers' last appearance in Fairfield came in 2012.
• On Sunday, Towson will head to LIU Brookyln for a nonconference contest beginning at noon. The Tigers and Blackbirds met for the first time a year ago at Unitas Stadium with Towson taking a 3-1 victory.
