South Orange, N.J. – The Towson University women's swimming and diving team won 13 events to claim a 197-103 victory over Seton Hall Saturday at Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium.
Leading the way was Annemarie Schnoor who had two individual wins and a victory as part of the 200-yard medley relay. She came in first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.32 and then 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:17.17.
In the 200-yard medley relay she teamed up with Haley Sutton, Jacki Schoening and Ryan Ulrich to finish with a time of 1:46.20.
How it Happened
· Karlee Carminati captured the 1000-yard freestyle (10:35.21).
· Sarah-Margaret Locke won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.18.
· Amanda Rosa was victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06).
· Maddi Mangum finished in first in the 200-yard butterfly.
· With a score of 343.75 Emily Wilson won the 3-meter diving competition.
· Meghan Jones prevailed in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.87).
· Schoening also won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:20.31).
· Ulrich won the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.01).
· Suzannah Mills came in first in the 400-yard individual medley (4:31.25).
· The quartet of Megan Clark, Locke, Meagn Cowan and Ulrich had a first-place victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:35.64).
· Clark placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:43.63) while Zeynep Balto was fourth (10:51.59).
· Cowan finished in third in the 200-yard backstroke (1:55.71).
· Ulrich was second in the 100-yard backstroke (59.47) and Alex Diacumakos (1:00.64).
· Locke also came in second in the 100-yard freestyle while Cowan came in third (54.33).
· In the 1-meter diving competition Wilson finished in second scoring 285.97 and Kelsey Jehl finished in third scoring 267.
Up Next for Towson
The Tigers will stay on the road as they head to Lewisburg, Pa to compete in the Bucknell Invitation. The meet is scheduled to take place Nov.16-18 with the prelims starting at 10 and the finals beginning at 6 p.m.
