Midweek Baseball
The Tigers return to midweek action as they travel to face George Washington on March 28.  First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

Midweek Weather
A chance of rain will exist throughout the day, but the temperatures are expected to be in the upper 60 on Wednesday.

Series History
The Tigers and Colonials are meeting for the 64th time on the diamond with GW holding a 33-28-2 lead in the all-time series.  The team split the two games last year with both winning on their home field.

vs. the Atlantic 10
Wednesday's game is the fifth of nine games against teams from the Atlantic 10 this season.  Towson is 0-4 so far this season after losing three games at Richmond and falling in a midweek game against George Mason.  The Tigers are 99-127-4 all-time against the A10.

Last Year at George Washington
Richie Palacios went 4-for-5 with a double, home run in three RBIs as the Tigers fell 13-4.

Two Midweek Games Added
Towson has announced the addition of a pair of midweek games on April 3 and April 4.  The Tigers will host VCU on Tuesday and La Salle on Wednesday.  Both games will have a 3 p.m. first pitch at Schuerholz Park.

Adams Fans 10
Senior Michael Adams struck out a career-best 10 hitters over eight innings to pick up the victory over Delaware. It is the first time a Tiger pitcher fanned 10 in a CAA game since Tyler Austin punched out 10 Georgia State hitters on April 20, 2012.

Masters' Unnoticed Play
One of the most important plays in Sunday's victory over Delaware was a play that went unnoticed by many. With one out and Masters on first, a slow chopper to second nearly ended the inning with a double play.  Except for the fact that Masters avoided the tag long enough to allow the runner to reach first safely. That play kept the inning alive and allowed the Tigers to score four runs in the inning and extend the lead to 8-1.

Gimblet Drives in 5 in Finale
Colin Gimblet had one of his best days as a Tiger in the series finale at Delaware as he went 4-for-5 with five RBIs.  He helped break the game wide open with a bases-clearing triple as part of a four-run fourth inning.

Martinez Comes Out Swinging
Trey Martinez came out swinging in the CAA opening series as he went 5-for-10 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs over the three games.

10 Runs Allowed in CAA Series
Towson allowed just 10 runs in the three-game series against Delaware.  It is the fewest runs allowed in a CAA series since giving up 10 runs against James Madison April 8-10, 2016.

On Deck

The Tigers return to CAA play this weekend (March 30-April 1) as they welcome Hostra to Schuerholz Park.  The series opener is set for 3 p.m. with the Saturday and Sunday games for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
