CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Towson University baseball team plays its final non-conference weekend of the season when they take on The Citadel on April 13-14. The teams will open the series Friday at 3 p.m., and then play a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.

Series History vs. The Citadel
The Tigers and Bulldogs have met four times prior witih Towson holding a 3-1 advantage in the series. All four previous meetings came in Charleston, South Carolina, with the last happening in the 2012 season opener, a 6-5 Towson victory.

Richard Miller returned to the lineup this week and calmly belted two home runs in the victory over Coppin State. He is the first Tiger to hit two home runs in a game since
Tristan Howerton against James Madison on April 10, 2016.
Reeser Makes Return
Redshirt freshman
Kody Reeser made his season debut against Coppin State. He had not pitched since being injured on March 26, 2017 at East Carolina. Reeser struck out one and walked one in his one inning of work.

The Tigers drew 15 walks in the victory over Bucknell. It was the most free passes issued to the Tigers since Delaware issued 15 walks on March 10, 2013.

The game time for the series opener at The Citadel has been changed from 6 p.m. to a 3 p.m. first pitch.

Michael Adams has been living up to his twitter name as the senior allowed just one unearned run on three hits over seven innings against William & Mary. In three starts in CAA play, Adams is 3-0 with a 0.75 ERA and 28 strikeouts.
On Deck
The Tigers play a pair of midweek games at Schuerholz Park as they welcome Maryland Eastern Shore on April 17 and Delaware State on April 18. Both games will start at 3 p.m.
