• Towson is off to its best start to a season in school history. The 2016 team also started 14-2 under head coach
Sonia LaMonica en route to the program's seventh and most recent CAA title.
• The winner of Saturday's game will be the CAA regular season champion and secure the top-seed in next week's CAA Championship.
• Saturday is also senior day for the women's lacrosse team. This year's seniors include

• Towson leads the CAA and is ranked second in the nation in scoring defense while James Madison leads the CAA and is ranked 12th in the nation in scoring offense. The Tigers are also third in the nation in caused turnovers per game and fifth in save percentage.
• Saturday marks the 150th game at Towson for eighth-year head coach
Sonia LaMonica. She currently has 107 career wins in nine seasons as a head coach with 99 at Towson where she is 99-50 (.664).
A Towson Win Would …
• Be the Tigers' 10-straight, equaling their 10-game win streak in 2012 when they won the CAA championship and finished 16-4.
• Be the Tigers' eighth-straight at home and sixth in-a-row in the CAA. The last team to finish a season undefeated in the CAA was Hofstra in 2015.
• Be the Tigers' 14th consecutive regular season home win and improve the Tigers' record to 23-6 at home since 2016. The team has not lost at home in the regular season since a 13-6 loss to No. 3 Florida on March 5, 2017.
• Be the Tiger's first win over the Dukes at home since April 13, 2014, snapping a two-game losing streak. It would also be Towson's second win in last three meetings.

• Towson won its its ninth-straight game while tying the best start to a season in program history with its 14th win in the first 16 games.
• Cha posted her third hat trick of the season and her 10th multi-goal game out of 13 this season.
• Keating totaled 10 or more saves for the fifth time this season and posted the third-highest total of her career. She had 14 against Delaware and 13 at No. 6 Florida.
• Towson held the Blue Jays to just 1-of-10 on free position shots while forcing 20 turnovers, including 14 in the second half.
Scouting James Madison
• The Dukes, who are ranked at No. 4 in all three major polls, are off to their best 16-game start in program history. JMU's 15-1 record is the team's best mark this late in the season in its 50-year history. It is also the first time that the team has won 15 games in the regular season.
• Kristen Gaudian leads the team with 54 goals and 68 points this season. She also has 14 assists. Katie Kerrigan leads the team with 39 assists while Elena Romesburg is second with 55 points.
• Haley Warden leads the Dukes with 71 draw controls while Gaudian has totaled 63.
• Warden leads the team defensively with 35 caused turnovers and 37 ground balls. She is one of five Dukes who have totaled at least 16 caused turnovers. Rebecca Tooker has 28 caused turnovers.
• Ellie Harmeyer has played 14 games in goal while making 11 starts and has totaled an 8.95 goals against average and 48 saves for a .366 saves percentage. Molly Dougherty has played in 13 games in goal while making five starts and has totaled a 7.68 saves goals against average and 62 saves for a .544 saves percentage.
Towson-James Madison Series History
• Saturday will mark the 43rd all-time meeting between the Tigers and Dukes with JMU holding a 29-13 lead in the series.
• Since Towson joined the CAA in 2002, the Tigers have won 10 of the 22 meetings with six coming in the CAA championship game. The two teams have combined to win each of the last 10 conference titles with Towson claiming six.
• James Madison has won four of the last five games, including the last meeting at Unitas Stadium back on April 24, 2016 by a score of 11-9.
• Towson last home win in the series came back on April 13, 2014 when the Tigers won, 12-11.

• The number 100 has been a constant storyline for the Tigers this season. Towson has had four players score their 100th career goal this season. Junior

Tigers Ranked Among Nation's Best
• Towson has been ranked in the last 36 consecutive IWLCA Division I polls dating back to Feb. 29, 2016.
• The Tigers are currently ranked at No. 6 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll and at No. 10 in the U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
• The team's ranking at No. 6 by Inside Lacrosse represents the team's highest-ever ranking. The Tigers' previous high came on March 29, 2010 when they were at No. 7 in the IWLCA poll.
