North Carolina Homecoming
A trio of Tigers will be making a homecoming of sorts as assistant coaches

Mickey Williard, along with second baseman
Dirk Masters all hail from the Tar Heel state. Biagini is a native of Greenville, while Williard hails from High Point and Masters from Charlotte.
Long Balls vs. Maryland
Towson got home runs from
Richard Miller and
Billy Lennox in the game against Maryland. It was the seventh homer of the season for Miller and the first for Lennox.
Cuas Shuts Down Charleston
Alex Cuas had his best outing of his career against the College of Charleston as he allowed just one unearned run on four hits over seven innings. He also struck out a career-best seven.
Reeser Earns First Save
Kody Reeser earned his first career save as he pitched the final two innings against the College of Charleston. He needed only 2 pitches to get three outs in the eighth, then had to battle out of a jam in the ninth.

Richie Palacios is quietly climbing up the single-season charts for walks in a season with 44. He is currently third on the list.

Scoring 50 Twice
Shorstop
Richie Palacios scored his 50th run of the season in the series finale against the College of Charleston. It marked the second time in his career that he has scored 50 runs in a season (55 in 206). He is just the second player in program history to surpass 50 runs scored twice during his career, joining Gregg Davies, who scored 57 runs in 2001 and followed it up with 59 runs scored in 2002.
