Scoring 50 Twice
Shorstop Richie Palacios scored his 50th run of the season in the series finale against the College of Charleston. It marked the second time in his career that he has scored 50 runs in a season (55 in 206). He is just the second player in program history to surpass 50 runs scored twice during his career, joining Gregg Davies, who scored 57 runs in 2001 and followed it up with 59 runs scored in 2002.
