TOWSON, Md. – Ten games at the Tiger Soccer Complex and an early-season trip to Florida highlight the 2018 Towson University women's soccer scheduled, announced by first-year head coach Katherine Vettori Tuesday morning.

After an exhibition game in Emmitsburg, Maryland against in-state foe Mount St. Mary's on Aug. 10, the Tigers head out of town for a three-game road trip to officially open the 2018 campaign. On Thursday, Aug. 16, the Tigers will square off with the University of South Florida with a 7 p.m. start time in Tampa. Towson continues its tour of the Sunshine State with a 1 p.m. match on Sunday, Aug. 19 at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.

The three-game swing concludes on Thursday, Aug. 23 with match at former conference opponent Old Dominion, beginning at 7 p.m. in Norfolk, Virginia.

Towson plays five of its next six games at home to round out nonconference action. The Tigers' first home game of 2018 pits Towson against Longwood University at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26. After a week off, the Tigers will host Utah State on Sunday, Sept. 2 with an 11 a.m. kickoff. The final road game of the nonconference slate sends the Tigers down Charles Street for a 7 p.m. match at Loyola on Thursday, Sept. 6.

The Tigers wrap non-league action with three-straight at the Tiger Soccer Complex, squaring off with UMBC on Sunday, Sept. 9 for a 1 p.m. showdown. On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Towson hosts Lehigh University at 4 p.m., followed by a match against the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, Sept. 16 with a 2 p.m. opening kick.

Towson opens Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action on Thursday, Sept. 20 on the road at defending champion Hofstra for a 7 p.m. match in Hempstead, New York. The Tigers conclude the first week of league action on Sunday, Sept. 23 with a 1 p.m. game against William & Mary at the Tiger Soccer Complex.

The following week is another split session as the Tigers host Northeastern, last year's conference runner-up, on Thursday, Sept. 27 with a 3 p.m. start. Towson heads to North Carolina for a showdown at Elon on Sunday, Sept. 30 for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Towson's lone week of two home games opens on Thursday, Oct. 4 against James Madison with a 3 p.m. start, followed by a 1 p.m. matchup with the College of Charleston on Sunday, Oct. 7.

The Tigers keep things nearby the next week as they travel up Interstate 95 for a 7 p.m. match at Delaware on Thursday, Oct. 11, followed by a 1 p.m. match against rival Drexel on Sunday, Oct. 14 at home.

The 2018 regular season concludes on Sunday, Oct. 21 with a trip to UNCW for a 2 p.m. match in Wilmington, North Carolina.
