RICHMOND, Va. - It was a Towson University sweep on the women's side as both
Annemarie Schnoor and
Emily Wilson were named Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Swimmer and Diver of the week, respectively. The award was announced Monday afternoon.
Schnoor helped the Tigers defeat Drexel over the weekend by winning two events. In the 50-yard freestyle she finished with a time of 24.03 to come in first-place. She then finished with a time 51.74 in the 100-yard freestyle to capture first-place. She was also a part of the 200-yard medley relay team that came in second with a time of 1:46.18.
Wilson also helped the Tigers defeat Drexel over the weekend by placing in first-place in the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 274.05. She also won in the 3-meter dive with a score of 292.43. This is the third win for her this season.
Towson is back in action this Saturday, Jan. 18 as they travel to compete against conference foe Delaware.
