TOWSON, Md. – Look out for senior Kelsey Jehl striking the "Superman" pose as she and the Towson University women's swimming and diving team compete against Delaware on Saturday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. inside Rawstrom Natatorium at CBS.
Striking a pose is sense of confidence that Jehl uses before each meet. She intends to keep going into this meet with the continued confidence she has had in her previous meets.
"The team as a whole has been making huge strides with every meet, and I'm expecting to see even more improvement at Delaware, said Jehl. "The dual meets have been adding to our confidence for a fierce CAA Championship and I'm anticipating that this meet against Delaware will only add fuel to our fire since they're an in-conference team."
As a senior, each meet is important for Jehl. She plans to take every one a meet at a time and really enjoy the moment.
"While I'm looking forward to the CAA Championships, I'm trying to take this season one meet at a time and really savor every moment since it's my senior year, said Jehl. "I have a really good feeling about CAA's. Each and every girl on the team has worked harder than ever this year and its showing in the meet results."
"I'm so proud of how far this team has come and I truly believe in these girls to achieve our goal of earning the title of conference champions. I get goosebumps just thinking about it."
