TOWSON, Md. – Excitement sets in for
Tasha Reidenbach and the Towson University women's swimming and diving team as they compete against the University of Loyola (Maryland) on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m.
"As this will be the last meet for the senior class, myself included, I expect this meet to be extremely high energy," said Reidenbach. "This means we will be cheering loudly and getting to race one last time before our end of season championship meet."
The meet will take place inside Mangione Pool at the Fitness & Aquatics Center.
"The pool at Loyola is one of the nicer facilities that we get to compete in throughout the year,"said Reidenbach. "So it will be exciting to utilize their pool for our last dual meet."
The finance major has completed in every dual meet this season and can not wait to compete in her final one.
"I have been fortunate enough to race in all of the dual meets this year, meaning I haven't suffered from any prohibiting injuries or sicknesses," said Reidenback. "I am hoping for an exciting finish with my senior year. The year has gone well for myself and the team in general!"
Looking ahead all the seniors are patiently waiting for the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships and this meet is for sure to help the Tigers get ready.
"With this season coming to an end, I'm looking forward to fast races at out championship meet," said Reidenbach.
"Once tapered swimmers typically hit times that they don't normally hit in the dual meet season, Loyola will give us a great chance to race one last time before we start this taper process."
