BURLINGTON, N.C. – Senior Spencer Alexander finished a phenomenal performance in the Elon Phoenix Invitational by finishing third overall after his a third consecutive under par round.
 
Alexander led the Towson University men's golf team with a four-under 67 Tuesday afternoon. It was Alexander's 11th career round in the 60s. In shooting 10-under for the tournament, Alexander shot 69-67-67.

• Alexander had six birdies in the final round to bring his tournament total to 17, which tied for third most.
• Alexander was tied for fourth in par-3 scoring (2.92) and fifth in par-4 scoring (2.88) averages.
• Justin Griffith, Jeremy Summerson and Jackson Courtney shot an even par final round.
• Summerson had seven birdies.
• In finishing with a three-round score of 214 (-1), Summerson was tied for 33rd overall.
• Brad Riley carded a four-over 75.
• Towson finished sixth overall with a three round of 853 (-4).
• The final round 280 was the Tigers best score of the fall.
