TOWSON, Md. –The Towson University women's soccer team wraps up the season with Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play, hosting Hofstra and traveling to College of Charleston.
The Tigers will host the Pride of Hofstra on Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Tiger Soccer Complex at 3 p.m.
On Sunday, Towson travels to face the Cougars of Charleston for a 1 p.m. match.
All home matches will have live audio and video, free of charge, as well as live stats. Links for both contest can be found at towsontigers.com.
For all home meets, parking is free in Lot 19 with over flow in Lot 20.
Last Time Out
The Tigers battled the rain but fell to Delaware 1-0 in double overtime last Sunday, Oct. 20. The Blue Hens' Sara D'Appolonia scored right at the beginning of the second overtime period.
The Series: Hofstra (Hofstra leads 21-3-1)
Towson is facing Hofstra for the 26th time, a series that dates back to 1995. Hofstra won the game last year in New York 6-0. The Tigers are looking for their first win against the Pride since a 3-2 decision in 2011. It was also the last time the Towson defeated Hofstra at the Tiger Soccer Complex.
The Series: Charleston (Series tied 1-1-3)
Towson is looking for its first win over the Cougars since a 2-1 decision in 2013. Oddly enough this series has ended in overtime on numerous occasions, including last year's 3-3 double overtime decision.
Scouting the Tigers (3-12-1, 0-7-0 CAA)
Towson fell to Delaware 1-0 last Sunday, Oct. 20 in double overtime.
Jenna Blank is leading the Tigers with 10 points, four goals, and 24 shots including 12 on goal.
Nikki Logan has 32 shots with 10 shots on goal. Three different Tigers are tied with two goals and two assists. In goal for Towson is

Scouting the Pride (11-3-2, 5-0-2 CAA)
After tying UNCW 1-1 on Sunday, Oct. 20 the Pride received votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll and moved to No. 15 in the NCAA Division I RPI rankings. The Pride are led by junior Lucy Porter who has 12 goals, five assists and 29 points. Miri Taylor has seven goals, seven assists and 35 shots including 16 on goal. In goal for the Pride is Skylar Kuzmich, who has 40 saves and an 11-3-2 overall record.
Scouting the Cougars (8-8-0, 2-5-0 CAA)
The Cougars fell to Northeastern 1-0 last Sunday, Oct. 20 in Boston. Before the College of Charleston faces Towson, the Cougars play William & Mary on Thursday, Oct. 24. Leading the way for the Cougars is Olivia Freitas who has three goals, two assists and eight points. Hannah Farmer has three goals, seven points, 16 shots including 10 on goal. The goalkeeper for the Cougars is Meredith Holton who has played in 14 games, has 41 saves and an overall record of 5-7-0.

- The Towson University athletics department deems community service as one of its highest priorities to give back to the Greater Baltimore area.
- For the 7th consecutive year, the department exceeded 10,000 hours of community service to the Greater Baltimore region, finishing with 11,162 hours of community service in the 2018-19 academic season.
- Towson ranked #1 nationally for community service and won the 2018 National Championship for Community Service through the Helper Helper NCAA Team Works Competition.
- Towson had a 97% participation rate, attended 118 community service opportunities and volunteered with 19 organizations.
- Towson won the 2018 Volunteer of the Year Award from Susan G. Komen of Maryland.
