TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's swimming and diving team fell to William & Mary Saturday afternoon in Burdick Hall.
The Tigers finished with a final score of 134 while the Tribe scored 154.
How it Happened
- Ajani Dorner captured first-place in the 1-meter diving competition scoring 252.98 to earn nine points. Will Canny came in second scoring 235.80 and earing four points.
- Canny won the 3-meter diving with a score of 247.20. Dorner came in second scoring 237.35.
- Owen Robinson, Ryan O'Leary, Nick McClure and Matt Essing captured second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:32.09).
- Drew Munson was second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:41.25.
- Michael Fazio was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.66) and Ryan Baldino came in second with a time of 1:41.33.
- Robinson finished in second-place in the 100-yard backstroke (50.66).
- Noah Diacumakos had a finals time of 58.59 finishing in third in the 100-yard breaststroke. O'Leary finished in fourth (58.78).
- McClure won the 200-yard butterfly with a finals time of 1:50.77.
- Essing came in second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.44. He also was second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.87. Ryan Baldino came in third in the event with a time of 46.17.
- Robinson won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:52.93.
- Diacumakos captured first-place in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.43). Alex Suehiro finished in third (2:07.73).
- Drew Munson took second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.02). Matt Kenney came in third (4:41.95).
- McClure finished in second in the 100-yard butterfly (50.09). Cody Stewart was fourth with a time of 51.01.
- Diacumakos came in second in the 200-yard individual medley (1:53.53).
- Fazio, Baldino, Trey Adkins and Essing took second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:03.11.
