TOWSON, Md. – This week's Student-Athlete Spotlight features Towson University volleyball player Catie Chervenak. 
 
A backup defensive specialist, the senior has been part of teams who have compiled an 88-32 record, including a 20-2 start to the 2019 season where head coach Don Metil's squad has started Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play with 10 consecutive victories.  Check out her story by the Towson Sports Network.
 
Towson hosts James Madison Friday night at 7 p.m. in a battle of the top two spots in the standings. First serve for the highly anticipated match on FloVolleyball.tv is set for 7 p.m. at SECU Arena.
 
The Tigers round out the weekend with a showdown against longtime rival Delaware on Sunday with a 1 p.m. start time.
