TOWSON, Md. – Announced by head coach
Sonia LaMonica is the 2020 schedule for Towson University women's lacrosse.
The Tigers open with the same opponent as last year's season opener, hosting Penn State on Saturday, Feb. 8 at noon in Johnny Unitas Stadium®.
Towson hits the road for the next two games against area opponents in Saint Joseph's on Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. and local foe Loyola on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m.
In a Leap Year celebration, High Point comes to town for a noon game on Saturday, Feb 29.
The month of March begins at Stony Brook on Thursday the 5th with a 5 p.m. start before the Tigers return home for three straight.
Opening the homestand, Towson hosts Ohio State on Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m., it will be just the second time the teams have met. Saturday, March 14 there is a lacrosse doubleheader at Towson with the women hosting UMass. Times for the doubleheader will be announced at a later date.
Wrapping up the home nonconference slate is Georgetown on Saturday, March 21 at noon.
The Tigers hit the road for two games to finish the nonconference schedule, starting at Hopkins on Wednesday, March 25. Towson will take on the Blue Jays in the 25th meeting between the two teams. Later that week the Tigers head to New Haven, Connecticut to face Yale on Saturday, March 28.
Opening conference action is a Friday night home game against James Madison. The Dukes come to town on Friday, April 3. Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action continues with three straight road games at Elon (April 10), William & Mary (April 12) and Drexel (April 17).
Towson returns home for two to close out the regular season against Hofstra on Sunday, April 19 at noon and Delaware on Saturday, April 25.
