Lewisburg, Pa. - Day two of the Bucknell Invitational concluded with the Towson University women's swimming and diving team still in second place after 27 events.
The Tigers lead with 1,244 points, Fordham is in second with 1,022 points, Davidson is in third (732.50), then Bucknell (714.50), La Salle (503) and Rider (355).
How it Happened
- The quartet of Maddi Mangum, Jacki Schoening, Maddie Mince and Annemarie Schnoor finished in first in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:41.43 earning 52 points.
- Â Sarah-Margaret Locke came in third in the 400-yard individual medley (4:21.80, 27 points). Meghan Jones was in fifth (4:25.73).
- Megan Cowan was second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.46 earning 28 points.
- Schnoor came in second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.48, 28 points).
- Schoening was victorious in her signature event, the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.07, 32 points). Kasey Gamache saw a fifth-place finish (1:04.75).
- Â Mangum captured first in the 100-yard backstroke earning 32 points after a finals time of 55.26.
- Christina Coleman came in fourth on the 1-meter dive scoring 242.65.
- In the 800-yard freestyle relay, Alex Diacumakos, Locke, Rachel Hoban and Cowan finished in fourth with a time of 7:31.17.
