CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – Two medals was awarded to the Towson University women's swimming and diving team as they completed day two of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships.
Megan Cowan saw gold after winning the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:01.06. Cowan won her first CAA title and becoming the first Tiger to win the event since
Charlotte Holz won with a time of 1:59.40 in 2015.
Kelsey Jehl won the bronze medal scoring 303.05 in the 3-meter diving competition.
Towson is in third place going into day three of the championships.

The Tigers will continue with day three of the CAA Championships in Christiansburg, Virginia with trials beginning at 10 a.m. The events include the 400-yard individual medley, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke and 400-yard medley relay.
