Sunday Named to USILA Division I Team of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Towson University men's lacrosse senior attackman Brendan Sunday collected a second weekly honor on Tuesday as he was named to the USILA Division I Team of the Week.

The nod from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) comes on the heels of Sunday's selection as the CAA Player of the Week.

Sunday helped the then ninth-ranked Tigers surge past No. 16 Georgetown for a 14-8 win in Washington, D.C. The Poughquag, New York product scored four goals and added five assists, including accounting for three goals and two assists during a five-goal run for the Tigers. The finance major logged all four of his goals in the fourth quarter while adding two assists in the frame to put separation between the Tigers and the host Hoyas.

Sunday and the Tigers return to action tomorrow night under the lights at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium. No. 7 Towson hosts No. 1 Loyola as the CAA Game of the Week on Lax Sports Network. Opening faceoff is set for 6 p.m.

Youth players wearing their team jerseys can enter Wednesday's game for free while their parents/chaperones can get in on a $5 ticket. The Greene Turtle Towson will also have its Turtle on the Track, located on the south side of Unitas ® Stadium.
