TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University baseball team may be done this season, but for several players, baseball is far from over in 2019.
Some Tigers will be playing this summer for various leagues across the country. Some will be staying around the Maryland area while others will be traveling to other states to compete.
Most summer leagues use wooden bats, the same kind as in the professional ranks, instead of aluminum bats used in the NCAA. These wooden bat leagues give all players, including batters and pitchers, a different style of play.
