TOWSON, Md. - Announced Tuesday, freshman midfielder Blair Pearre has been selected to the Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Incoming Freshmen Rankings. The Towson University women's lacrosse rookie came in at No. 21 on the list.
Pearre played her high school career at McDonogh where she scored 54 goals in her senior season. The Pikesville, Maryland native was named the Baltimore Sun 2019 All-Metro Player of the Year over the summer, among several accolades she collected ending her high school action. Over the summer Pearre played in the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game.
She played varsity for four years as an Eagle and in her senior season helped land her team to a No. 1 national ranking and the 2019 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference title.
Pearre finished the year with 30 draw controls, 15 caused turnovers and 25 ground balls. In the 10-7 victory over Archbishop Spalding in the IAAM semifinals she scored six goals, and she put the Eagles in position to win the title game against St. Paul's. With 4:14 left she cut the lead to one, and assisted on the next goal that would tie the game going into overtime. McDonogh would win, 5-4.
In the four years she spent as an Eagle, her teams went 85-1 and held a national record of 198 straight wins.
