Nadelen Media Zoom Call Set for Dec. 2

TOWSON, Md. -- Between the 2020 fall ball schedule and the upcoming 2021 season, Towson University head men's lacrosse coach Shawn Nadelen will be available to the media via Zoom on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

The media availability session will begin at 1 p.m. and will be open to local, regional and national media. Members of the media interested in joining the call will need to register with assistant director, athletic media relations John Stark no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Members of the media that are unable to make the call can submit questions directly to John Stark prior to the event. The questions will be read during the availability with a recording of the Zoom available shortly after the event.

Nadelen begins his 10th season as the head coach of the Towson University men's lacrosse program. Under his guidance, Towson has an 83-56 (.597) overall record and a 24-17 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). Under Nadelen's tutelage, the Tigers have won the CAA Tournament five times (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019) with subsequent berths in the NCAA Tournament.

Despite a 2020 season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic, then-junior close defenseman Koby Smith was tapped as an Inside Lacrosse Media All-America Second Team selection.

The 2021 schedule will be announced for the Tigers at a later date.
