BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Towson University men's swimming team competed day two of the Virginia Tech Invitational.
On the diving side, the Tigers wrapped up day one of the JMU Dog Invitational.
How it Happened-Swimming
- Sebastian Jacome finished second in the B final of the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.44).
- Jack Lafond came in third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.77.
- Andrew Lapin finished in sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (52.56).
How it Happened-Diving
- Ajani Dorner ranked third in the 1-meter final scoring 275.85.
- Will Canny ranked fifth with a score of 259.25.
Up Next
The Tigers continue with day three of the Virginia Tech Invitational. The prelims begin at 10 am with the finals beginning at 4 p.m. inside the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
On the divers side the finals begin tomorrow with the prelims at 10 a.m. The men will compete in the 3-meter diving competition and the women will compete in the 1-meter.
