BALTIMORE, Md. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed the final day of the Thomas Murphy Invite hosted by Loyola on Sunday. Both teams ended in second place while
Shannon Parrau was named Female Diver of the Meet and
Jed Garner set a pool record in the 200 breast.

How it Happened: Women
- Kaitlyn Besner (17:00.85), Addie Scott (17:09.21), and Danielle McCarthy (17:13.03) took all three spots on the podium in the 1650 free.
- Dylan Gustaff was the Tigers top finisher in the 200 back with a seventh-place time of 2:04.90.
- Emelia Erikson placed fourth in the 100 free with a time of 51.93.
- Ellie Newman qualified for the 200 breast finals where she swam a time of 2:24.65.
- Emily Thornett took bronze in the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.57.
- Shannon Parrau completed her sweep of the boards winning the 1 meter dive with a score of 280.35.
- Scott, Riley Willett, Erikson, and Summer Bontrager placed second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:26.53.
How it Happened: Men
- Christian Davidson set a meet record in the 1650 free taking first place with a time of 15:34.09.
- Sean Colson finished second in the 200 back with a time of 1:44.65.
- Daniel McLaughlin took third in the 100 free with a time of 45.09.
- Jed Garner set a Mangione Aquatic Center record in the 200 breast with a time of 1:56.33 that is also the second fastest time in Towson history in the event.
- Harry Herrera (2:00.45) and Geoffrey Cradock (2:01.08) came in second and third respectively in the 200 breast.
- Anthony Mortellite was the Tiger's top finisher in the 200 fly placing seventh overall with a time of 1:51.78.
- Sam Tennell won the 3 meter dive with a score of 337.55.
- Colson, McLaughlin, Jake Wade and Stephen McDonald finished fourth in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:03.39.
