TOWSON, Md. – On Tuesday, the Towson University gymnastics team freshman
Allison Zuhlke earned a weekly award from the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL).
Zuhlke was named Co-Rookie of the week after putting up two 9.7 scores for the Tigers to help them post their highest opening score in team history and pick up an EAGL win.
On Saturday night, Towson posted a 193.925 to go 1-1 in the tri-meet picking up an EAGL win over Temple.
Zuhlke placed fifth on both bars and beam and posted the third-highest score for the Tigers on both events.
Other award winners include Emily Shepard from N.C. State was named Gymnast of the Week, while Katrina Coca from Pitt and Faith Leary from Temple were named the Co-Specialists of the Week and Carina Jordan from N.C. State was also named Co-Rookie of the week alongside Zuhlke.
