GRASONVILLE, Md. -- The lone home invitational of the season is set for this Saturday and Sunday as the Towson University men's golf team hosts the Towson Fall Invitational.

The weekend's event will cover three rounds, with two slated for Saturday and the final round on Sunday. All three rounds will be held at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Maryland, a Par 72, 6,624 yard setup on the Eastern Shore.

The Field
Joining Towson, which will field two teams, will be Binghamton, Howard, Manhattan, Niagara, Robert Morris and Youngstown State.

Last Time Out for Towson
After a slow start at the Howard Bison Invitational last weekend at Woodmont Country Club's North Course, the Tigers responded to a fourth-place finish in the seven-team field. 

Julian Gonzalez pulled together a 228 total, including a 1-over 73 on Monday. Jeremy Summerson joined Gonzalez in the top 10, tying for seventh overall with a 229. Justin Griffith was also a top-10 finisher with a ninth-place finish at 231. Summerson was Towson's most consistent player, with just a three-stroke difference between his three rounds (76-75-78).

The Tigers had the lowest round three score among the seven teams, carding a combined 307 as the only team under 310 total strokes. Towson overcame its slow start and finished within five strokes of first-place Bucknell University.
