STATE COLLEGE, Penn. – Towson men's golf is in ninth place at the Rutherford Intercollegiate after the first two round with a score of 14-over par.
Ariihau Faana sits in 10th place on the individual leaderboard after a two-round score of one-under par.
Faana shot two-under par during the first round of the day, and did not record a hole worse than par. In total, Faana has parred 31 holes through two rounds, the tournament lead.
Michael Matheson climbed 16 spots with his round two performance where he turned in a one-under par score. He started on the back nine. When he made the turn to the front nine, he birdied three holes to shoot two-under on the front nine. Matheson sits in 24th place after the first day
Matthew Gonnello carded a four-over par two-round score. His first back nine and second front nine had a combined one-under par. Gonnello sits in 38th place going into the third round.
Sky Aung is in 57th place after two round with a score of +9. He birdied his first and last holes.
Jai Sheth is tied for eighth in par five scoring at two-under par after two rounds. His two round score is 10-over par.
The final round starts Sunday afternoon.
