BOSTON — After five meets this fall, the Towson University cross country team is set for the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30. The meet will take place in Boston for just the second time in championship history. The championships were also hosted by Northeastern in 2014.
Elon has won the last two women's titles after collecting victories in 2019 and 2020.

Last Time Out
On Saturday, Oct. 16, the Tigers competed in the Princeton Invitational, placing 12th out of 21 teams.
Towson ended the race with 649 total points and an average time of 23:56.3 to edge out nine other teams. Ainsley Jacobs paced the Tigers in the 6k race with a time of 22:28.8 to finish in 27th place.
Nicole Bezborodko (23:54.2) and Casey Walter (23:58.6) placed 82nd and 88th respectively, to also finished in the top-100 out of over 175 runners.
The Road Ahead
Next up, the Tigers will return to Lehigh's Goodman Stadium on Friday, Nov. 12 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals. To end the season, those who qualify will compete in the NCAA Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on Saturday, Nov. 20.
