LEWISBURG, Pa. -- It was another strong day for the Towson University women's swimming and diving program as the Tigers remained atop the team standings at the Bucknell Invitational after the second day of action.

Towson holds a commanding 1,014.50 points, leading second-place Bucknell's 891.50. UConn sits in third at Kinney Natatorium with 864.50 points followed by Fordham (756), Davidson (643), La Salle (390.50) and Rider (164).

How it Happened

• The Tigers opened day two with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, grabbing a time of 1:42.21 and 44 points with Parker Schulz, Tiffany Matulis, Hailey Ritter and Maddie Mince.
• Karlee Carminati clocked a 4:24.53 in the 400-yard IM for a fifth-place finish. In the 100-yard butterfly, Ritter touched in 55.01, taking second in the A Finals. 
• Meagan Clark picked up more second-place points for the Tigers in the 200-yard freestyle with a 1:49.21, shaving a second from her qualifying time. Matulis snagged a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:03.46, the sixth-fastest time in program history.
• On the 1-meter board, Christina Coleman finished seventh, faltering in the finals after a 252.15 in qualifying, the third-best preliminary score.
• Overcoming a suboptimal preliminary swim, Mince won the B Final of the 100-yard butterfly in 54.95, a top-10 time at Towson and one that would have been the second-fastest time in the A Final.
