RICHMOND, Va. -- For the first time this fall, Towson University women's diver Christina Coleman was selected as the CAA Women's Diver of the Week. The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) made its announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Coleman is the third Tiger to win a weekly honor from the league office this season. Meagan Clark was the CAA Women's Swimmer of the Week (Oct. 12) while fellow diver Alyssa Largay was named CAA Women's Diver of the Week (Oct. 19).

Coleman, who hails from Acton, Massachusetts, finished third overall at the Bucknell Invitational on the 3-meter board, scoring 261.05 points in the finals, improving 10 points from the preliminary round. Coleman earned 27 team points with her finish, helping the Tigers to the team title. The senior finished seventh in the 1-meter finals, scoring 224.60 points. Coleman qualified third on the 1-meter board, scoring 252.15 in the preliminary dives.

The CAA announced Co-Women's Swimmers of the Week: Missy Cundiff from William & Mary and Lera Nasedkina of Drexel.

Up Next for Towson

• The Tigers are idle until the new year when Towson heads to Harrisonburg, Virginia to take on James Madison.
• The Jan. 15, 2022 meeting will be the second between the programs this fall. Towson won its season opener 157-143 at Burdick Pool over the Dukes.
