Postgame Quote:
Towson head coach
Jamie Peterson: "While we beat them 7-0 last year the score was a lot closer, so my message was you better come to play or you can expect some really challenging matches. I wanted to make sure the girls knew that and they were good about that right from the start with the doubles. We finished the doubles point in about a half hour. We talked about the importance of coming out with more energy, getting a fast start and being more aggressive. They also did it in the singles, winning all the first sets."
Next Match:
Towson heads back to Virginia next week for the second time this season for two matches. The Tigers will face Radford on Friday afternoon, Feb. 26 and Longwood the following afternoon. Towson then heads to Annapolis on the last day of the month to take on Navy.
