Women’s Diving Wraps CAA Championships

NEWARK, Del. -- The Towson University women's diving team capped the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships Saturday afternoon at Rawstrom Natatorium on the campus of the University of Delaware.

Day two of the CAA Diving Championships saw the women's divers on the 1-meter board for the day. Christina Coleman was the Tigers' top diver in the preliminary round, followed by Sarah DiGaetano and Ashley Sinicropi.

How it Happened
  • Coleman finished ninth in the preliminary round, missing the finals by just three points. The junior posted a 237.70 in the prelims.
  • DiGaetano notched a 205.65 in the 1-meter preliminary round, followed by a 193.25 from Sinicropi. The pair finished 15th and 18th, respectively.
  • In the consolation finals, Coleman finished fourth overall with a 230.80 to round out her junior season.
  • Fellow junior DiGaetano took fifth in the consolation finals with a 227.70.
