TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse remains ranked in the IWLCA Division I Coaches Top 25 poll, released Monday, April 26. The Tigers are No. 25, down five spots, after dropping games last week to then #12 Drexel and Hofstra.
It is the ninth consecutive week that
Sonia LaMonica's squad has appeared in the coaches' poll.
For the first time since mid-February, Towson did not receive any votes in the Inside Lacrosse Media Top 20 poll.
Towson (8-6) owns a victory over #9/#10 Loyola. Four of six losses have been to ranked teams - #6/#7 Stony Brook, a pair to #10/#9 Drexel and #21/#21 James Madison.

North Carolina (15-0) is the top ranked team in the nation for the 12
th consecutive week, followed in both major polls by Northwestern (11-0), Syracuse (12-2), Boston College (11-2) and Notre Dame (8-5).
