"Today was a good day," said head men's golf coach Mike Larkin. "We talked a little bit last night about more commitment to the golf shots. They did a great job with that, and stayed disciplined throughout the round. I thought they also did a great job with speed control on the greens. This is the kind of round we know we can shoot on a consistent basis, and we're getting closer to doing that more often."

Griffith's 217 (78-71-68) saw betterment each round, leading to his career best. Freshman Phil Minnehan finished 22nd overall, shooting a 218 (75-70-73), aided by a -3 in the second round, which was completed on Tuesday.

Summerson was tied for 28th overall with a 221 (76-74-71) while he too improved every round. Likewise, Brad Riley put away a 225 (78-77-70), tying for 44th overall thanks to his -2 in the final round on the 6,992 yard course. Julian Gonzalez completed Towson's scoring with a 234 (81-74-79), finishing the deferred second round with a +2 74.

UCF swept the top three spots, with Johnny Travale taking first overall with a 205 (69-72-64). His final round final was one off the course record. Clement Charmasson finished second with a 206 (69-69-68) while Teddy Tetak rounded out the event's top three with a 208 (74-66-68).
