Julia Lenik Signs for Towson Volleyball

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University volleyball announces that Julia Lenik will join the Tigers' squad next season, announced Wednesday by Head Coach Don Metil. Julia is Coach Metil's second signing of his 2023 recruiting class.
 
"Julia brings a great deal of international experience to Towson, said Coach Metil. "With good size, a great arm with range and the ability to pass, she is a true 6 rotation OH. Her abilities, combined with her experience, will provide immediate impact for us at the pins."
 
Lenik is an outside hitter from Rzeszów, Poland. During her time with the Polish Junior National Team, she helped guide the team to a third-place finish at the European Youth Olympic Games, a first-place finish at the Qualifying for the European Junior Championship and an eighth place at the World Championship Cadet. Lenik also guided the Polish Junior National Team to a fifth-place finish at the Europe Championship Cadet.
 
Lenik finished second with LTS Legionovia Legionowo in the Polish Championship Cadet. She also earned a third-place finish at the Polish Championship Cadet for MKS VLO Developres Rzeszów.
 
The Tigers will play the #8 seed Stony Brook on Thursday, Nov. 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the CAA Quarterfinals.
