TOWSON, Md. – This week's Student-Athlete Spotlight features Towson University basketball player
Skye Williams.
After two seasons coming off the bench, the guard has moved into the starting lineup for Coach
Laura Harper and been a consistent performer all season. She scored a season-high 19 points against then No. 14 Maryland on Nov. 26 and currently ranks in the top three on the team in scoring, assists, steals, minutes played, field goal percentage and free throw percentage.
A talented artist, who will graduate in May with a Fine Arts degree, Williams designed a mural that will hang in the women's basketball suite. Check out her story by the Towson Sports Network.
Williams and the Tigers (7-7) host William & Mary (6-8) in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action Friday night at SECU Arena.
