Brian Benzing collected his fifth weekly award of the season following CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week honors on Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6. Towson diver 
Ajani Dorner was named the CAA Men's Diver of the Week following two event victories and an NCAA Zone-cut score in the 1-meter competition against Drexel Saturday. This is Dorner's fourth award such award, having won CAA Men's Diver of the Week three times last season.
 
Benzing turned in the eighth-best performance in the nation this season in the 100 IM with a time of 48.61 to highlight a week where he won five individual events and three relays in team victories over UMBC and Drexel. The junior placed first in the 50 breast (24.13), 100 breast (53.26), 100 IM and 200 medley relay against UMBC. He followed with winning efforts in the 100 fly (48:07), 200 free (1:40.12), 200 medley relay and 400 free relay against Drexel.
 
Dorner posted his best effort of the season while sweeping both boards in Towson's meet against Drexel. The senior tallied a NCAA Zone-cut score of 300.15 in the 1-meter competition and had a winning score of 293.93 in the 3-meter competition. Earlier in the week, he finished second on the 3-meter board and fourth on the 1-meter board versus UMBC.
On Deck for Towson
Both Tigers squads are set for a trip to Newark, Del. to take on the Blue Hens in the final dual meet of the season on Saturday, Jan. 28. The meet is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start.
