TOWSON, Md. – Towson University field hockey forward Sarah Hatfield has been named Second Team All-Coastal Athletic Association, announced by the league office Thursday morning.
 
The Culpepper, Virginia native ranks fifth in the CAA with nine goals scored over 18 starts this season. Her 21 points and two game-winning goals each stand seventh among league leaders in 2023.
 
The VCU transfer has registered 34 total points on fifteen goals and four assists since joining the Tigers in 2021, landing her at 20^th all-time among point leaders in program history over 42 starts with the Black & Gold. Her 15 goals stand 13^th all-time among goal leaders in program history, trailing only Christina Boarman (46), Julie Lambi (44), Ashley Bacon (27), Kajee Murangi (27), Lisa McCullen (26), Katie DeFilippo (25), Kristie Blumer (21), Lauren Volk (21), Georgia Beachley (19), Joann Engestrom (19), Coleen Cahill (17) and Mariah Schuette (17).
