Boston, MA – The Towson University track and field team is sending sixteen athletes to Boston University's David Hemery Invitational this Friday Feb 10. The team will be competing on the first day of the two day meet.

Last Meet Recap
At last weekends Skyes & Sabock Challenge at Penn State the Tigers picked up multiple personal, season and all-time program bests.
Ty'Liyah Hannah earned a personal best of 7.79 in the 60 meter dash in prelims, then lowered her time by .03 in finals to finish in 7.76.
Beighley Ayers was the top finisher for Towson in the mile, clocking a personal best of 5:03.84 which also made her the fourth all-time in program history in the event.
Cristal Cuervo took fifth in the 200 meter with a 24.60. To conclude the meet, Towson's 4x400 meter relay consisting of
Maya Tucker (58.07),
Sydney Tucker (48.90),
Cristal Cuervo (55.29) and Emmanuel Mevo (59.40) clocked the fourth best time in program history – 3:51.64.

Towson heads back to Penn State on Feb 17 before opening championship season with the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Feb 22 and 23 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Following CAAs the Tigers will compete in Eastern Athletic Association Conference (ECAC) Championships on Mar 3 and 4 in Boston. Indoor season will conclude with NCAA Championships from March 7-10 in New Mexico.
