Weirton, WV – The East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) announced the All-EAGL Scholastic Team for the 2022 calendar year on Friday morning.
149 gymnasts from the eight schools in the EAGL conference make up this year's Scholastic Team. In order to qualify for the team, a gymnast needs to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above throughout the 2022 calendar year. Freshman are eligible with fall 2022 semester grades only.
Towson had 21 student athletes named to the Scholastic Team, which is three more than last years list. The Tigers had the second-most amount of athletes in the league, following LIU and Temple's 22. NC State and North Carolina had 19, New Hampshire and Pittsburgh had 16 and George Washington had 14 gymnasts named.

The Tigers round out the 2023 regular season with two local trips, starting with a meet in the nation's capital tonight. George Washington hosts Towson, Maryland and William & Mary for a quad meet starting at 7 p.m. Towson then heads to College Park for a meet hosted by Maryland this Sunday afternoon. The Terps will welcome Towson, George Washington, Temple and Yale at the Xfinity Center.
The EAGL Championships are on March 18
th at the University of New Hampshire.
