Orlando, Fla. – The Towson University track & field team is onto its next meet of the 2023 outdoor slate, heading down to Florida for the UCF Knights Invite hosted by the University of Central Florida on March 24 and 25.

Field: The Tigers are up against Bethune-Cookman University, Central Michigan University, Clemson, Embry-Riddle, Florida International University, Flagler College, Florida College, Florida Memorial, Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Keiser University, Lake Sumter State College, Mercer, Saint Leo University, University of South Florida, Southeastern University, Stetson, University of Tampa, Temple, Valdosta State, Warner and Webber International.
Start Times: Friday will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the women's discuss, Saturday starts at 10:00 a.m. with the women's hammer.

Last Meet Recap
The Tigers opened their 2023 outdoor season with a trip to Philadelphia for the Penn Challenge last Saturday. Five athletes picked up new PRs while two earned podium finishes.
The 4x100 relay made up of
Sydney Tucker,
Maya Tucker,
Ty'Liyah Hannah and
Cristal Cuervo placed second overall after clocking a 46.88 which is good enough for seventh all-time.
Cristal Cuervo placed third in the 200m with a time of 25.08.
Fatimah Owens collected a bronze medal as well, placing third in the discus throw with a PR of 48.24m.
