TOWSON, Md. – Towson Women's Basketball has announced its out-of-conference schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Towson is coming off a 21-12 season and a 13-5 mark in the Coastal Athletic Conference (CAA), which earned the Tigers a share of the CAA regular season crown and a WNIT appearance. The Black & Gold returns
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas who was named CAA Defensive Player of the Year after leading the conference with 79 steals.
The Tigers tip off their season at home against UMBC on Nov. 6th, then travel to New York City to face Columbia on Nov.16th. Towson welcomes Maryland Eastern Shore on Nov. 21st after defeating the Hawks 69-57 last season.
The Black & Gold will play Navy, Quinnipiac and Abilene Christian in a tournament hosted by Navy on Nov. 25th & 26th. Towson will wrap up Nov. 29th with a home game against Morgan State for the second consecutive season.
The Tigers play four games in eight days starting with a trip down to Lynchburg, Virginia to take on Liberty on Dec. 4th for the first time since 1995. Two days later Towson hosts George Washington on Dec. 6th, then travels to the nation's capital on Dec. 10th to face American. The Tigers take a quick trip to College Park to play Maryland on Dec. 12th. Towson finishes its non-conference slate on Dec. 22
nd with a home matchup against George Mason.
