TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams both saw divers receive Coastal Athletic Association weekly honors.
Shannon Parrau was named CAA Women's Diver of the Week, and
Aidan Clark was named CAA Men's Diver of the Week.
Parrau dove in four events over two meets this past weekend winning all four. In the Tigers win over La Salle, she won the 1-meter dive with a score of 290.63 and topped the podium of the 3-meter dive as well with a score of 275.85. In the win over Seton Hall the next day, the Junior also took first place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 235.95 and won the 3-meter dive with a score of 238.80.
Clark also put up strong scores over four events in the two meets. Against La Salle he took second place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 292.95 and finished fourth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 274.35. Against Seton Hall, Clark placed third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 243.98 and was fourth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 238.35.
The Tigers are in action next at the Thomas Murphy Invite which runs Friday, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 27. The tournament is hosted by Loyola University Maryland, prelims will begin at 10:00 a.m. each day.
