TOWSON, Md. – Towson University gymnast Elise Tisler picked up her fourth East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) weekly award of the 2024 season, announced by the league on Wednesday.

Tisler received her second consecutive EAGL Specialist of the Week award on March 13.

At the dual meet against Maryland on March 10, the junior secured her third victory of the season on floor, tying for first on the event with a 9.875. Tisler picked up the Tigers only individual first place finish of the meet.

The Virginia native paced the vault lineup as well, leading the Tigers with their highest score on the event. She scored a 9.850 for her second podium finish of the meet, tying for second place.

Tisler has had a consistent season thus far, posting scores of 9.8 or higher on vault at all 11 meets. She has scored 9.8 or better on floor 10 times. The junior set career highs multiple times and her current best on both events is 9.975.

On vault, Elise ranks first in EAGL and 24^th in the NCAA with a 9.895 NQS. She is tied for third in the conference on floor with a 9.875 NQS.  

The Tigers host their final regular season home meet of the season on Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. before heading to D.C. for a tri meet with Penn State at George Washington on Sunday, March 17 at 1 p.m.
