TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University gymnastics team topped George Washington University and William & Mary in a tri meet on Friday night at TU Arena with a new program record team score of 197.500. This marks the second time this season that the Tigers have set a program record team score as they initially broke the 197 mark for the first time on February 23, posting a 197.425 at home.
Towson started off the meet strong, capturing the lead after tying its season high 49.325 for the first rotation of vault. The Tigers were able to hold on to the lead after each rotation, posting 49s on the remaining three events. The Black & Gold's highest score of the night came from bars where each athlete in the lineup posted a 9.825 or better for a 49.450 team score which ties the program record set earlier this season.
Towson claimed the top individual spots on vault, bars and beam with two additional gymnasts earning podium finishes. Each Tiger that won had at least a 9.95 or higher on their respective event. The Black & Gold also posted seven individual scores in the top-10 in program history.

- Isabella Minervini scored her third 9.975 of the season, which ties her career high, after receiving a perfect 10.0 from one judge. The sophomore placed first overall, picking up her eighth gold medal of the 2024 slate on the event. Minervini has also been the only Towson gymnast to win bars this season.
- Grace Vaillancourt tied her season high 9.900, joining Minervini on the podium with a second-place finish.
- Lauren Greene tied her career high 9.875, finishing fourth behind a two-way tie for second.
- Camille Vitoff and Lauren Keener logged a pair of 9.850s.
Rotation Three – Beam – 49.325
- After a seamless routine and a stuck landing, Sarah Girot earned a new career high 9.950 for her first individual first place finish of the season.
- Lauren Keener logged a career high as well, posting a 9.925 for a second-place finish.
- Jenna Weitz picked up Towson's third 9.9 of the event, receiving a 9.900 for fourth place.
- Grace Vaillancourt posted a 9.875, finishing right behind Weitz in fifth.
