Championship Season
The Tigers have officially wrapped up the 2024 regular season and are set for the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship, looking to defend their title tomorrow in TU Arena at 4 p.m.

Last Year in Durham
Towson won the EAGL Championship for the first time in program history last season, clinching the title at the University of New Hampshire on March 18, 2023, after posting a 196.500. The Black & Gold finished ahead of NC State (196.425), North Carolina (196.350), New Hampshire (195.500), Temple (194.925), George Washington (194.525), LIU (194.275) and Pittsburgh (194.225).

Nine Tigers picked up top-10 finishes, led by a first place from Grace Vaillancourt on beam with a 9.950. Lauren Keener was the only other Tiger to score in the 9.9s, logging a 9.900 on beam to secure Towson's victory.

Records Are Made to be Broken
Towson had another record-breaking season in 2024, rewriting history several times.

The Tigers set a new program record team score twice, hitting the 197 mark for the first time ever on February 23 at home against Temple and LIU. Towson posted a 197.425, breaking the previous record of 196.800 set in March of 2000. The Tigers then reset the record on March 15, posting a 197.500 supported by event scores no less than 49.325.

The Black & Gold also set program records on bars and floor. On bars, the team initially broke the record on February 23, logging a 49.450. The team matched that same mark on March 15 before breaking the record again on March 17 with a 49.525 backed by four Tigers scoring 9.900 or higher. On February 23 Towson also set the floor program record, putting up a 49.650 supported by two gymnasts logging 9.975s.

The team saw the highest NQS in program history, wrapping up regular season with a 196.800. The Tigers also earned the highest average in program history of 196.152, supported by eight consecutive scores of 196.300 or higher. The Black & Gold consistently hit marks in the record book, posting 19 scores in the top-10 in program history range.

Home Arena Advantage
The Tigers have found most success this season at home, posting their two top team scores of 197.500 and 197.425 at TU Arena. The Black & Gold also posted their program record floor score as well as season highs on vault and beam at home. Towson has faced all four EAGL teams at home at least once this season, defeating each foe every time.

All-EAGL Teams
13 Tigers received a combined 21 All-EAGL selections for Towson this season, the most in program history and out of all teams in the conference.
